DAY 1: Palermo

– Porta Pescara – an ancient gate that leads to the picturesque harbor. It was built in the Middle Ages and is one of the most distinctive landmarks in the town
– Piazza Marina – a charming square located by the sea. It offers ruins of the megalithic walls and beautiful views of the bay
– Duomo di Cefalù – the cathedral, built at the turn of the 12th and 13th centuries, is one of the most important examples of Norman architecture in Sicily. It’s included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The interior of the cathedral is decorated with beautiful mosaics, including the famous image of Christ Pantocrator
– Rocca di Cefalù – an impressive hill rising above the town. It’s an easy hike offering stunning views of the town, the sea, and the surrounding landscapes, making it one of the main tourist attractions in the region
DAY 3: Taormina
– Planeta Sciaranuova – the vineyard where the White Lotus characters went in the fifth episode. It offers guided tours, wine testing, and lunch
– Isola Bella – a picturesque island that can be seen many times in the series, e.g., in the finale, when Daphne and Ethan were walking along the pebbles in its direction
DAY 4: Taormina
– Bam Bar – the place where Valentina was getting her coffee every day in the show
– Teatro Antico di Taormina – an ancient Roman theater located on the hill of Monte Tauro. Built in the 3rd century BC, the theater offers unforgettable views of the Ionian Sea and Mount Etna. The DiGrasso family visited this place with Portia
– Piazza IX Aprile – a central square in Taormina. It can be seen in several shots in the series, e.g., in the scenes of Ethan’s morning run
– Torre dell’Orologio – a baroque-style clock tower, located on Piazza IX Aprile. It’s one of the city’s iconic landmarks
– Porta di Mezzo – one of the three historical gates leading into Taormina. Located at the entrance to the old town, it represents medieval defensive architecture that once protected the city from invasions.
